Time needed:
One 1hr session

Set up:
Prepare the slips of paper with the appliances on plus sufficient 1 and 2 slips to cover the number of people in the class. Set up 8 `expert group' stations round the room, each with one task sheet and the associated worksheets. Each station will need 16 worksheets. Each station should be named 1 or 2, that is where the number comes in) i.e. bell 1 and bell 2 etc. Both the relay and loudspeaker activities have the panic at the publishers sheets to direct them. Put the associated object with each expert group location. Take account of number in the class, may have to juggle with some smaller groups. The resources needed are in the form of a zip file or as the word document (longer download time).
