Introduction:
Pupils brainstorm about alternative energy sources. Q - What does renewable energy mean? What advantages are there with these alternative sources? What drawbacks? Explain aims of lesson and hand out prepared question sheets. Describe how to access the database.

Activity:     
Pupils use the database to answer as many of the questions as possible.

Close:     
Pupils to state one thing that they have learnt about alternative forms of electricity generation in the lesson e.g. advantages.
