Help sheet to focus the team work.
The task is to prepare a short talk of between 3 and 5 minutes about the topic "A balanced diet"
Each team member should contribute to the preparation and to the final discussion.
Each team will need to be very well organised
Sort out the team leader, (see the table below). The leader will make the final decisions but needs to listen to everyone's opinion. The leaders decision is final. Don't be mardy if you do not get your own way.
Each person in the team has a right to be heard without interruption. Everyone, not just the leader should make sure this happens.
Time is short, you should spend no more than 10 min on the research and that will give you 10 min to prepare the talk.
This table can be used to organise your team effectively. You are allowed to write on this sheet.
Getting organised

Person whose name is closest to the end of the alphabet is the team leader and decides who does what.
|
Initial discussion
|
Each person in turn says what they understand by the phrase "a balanced diet". After each person has had their say, the team will need to do some research to check whose ideas are right and to find out some more information.
